The Retirement Network is excited to introduce the newest member of our team. Wendi Svitak joined The Retirement Network in May as a client service specialist.
Wendi, who has a B.S. in business management from Eastern Illinois University and an MBA from Elmhurst College, has nearly a decade of experience working in the wealth management business. She joins The Retirement Network from Morgan Stanley, where for more than three years she worked in a similar role as a client service associate. Previously, she worked at OakBrook Investments LLC for six years.
At The Retirement Network, Wendi will primarily be working with Jean Baert and our other advisors to ensure that each step of the client experience goes smoothly as they prepare for a successful retirement. Wendi will work directly with clients to process transactions, coordinate paperwork related to account openings and changes to beneficiary designations, as well as other administrative responsibilities.
“Wendi’s experience in client service and her passion for forming relationships with people make her an ideal fit for our culture and a valuable resource for our clients,” said Drew Grider, president and CEO of The Retirement Network. “We’re excited to have her join our team, and I know our clients will enjoy getting to know her.”
For Wendi, the opportunity to join a growing, family-like environment at The Retirement Network was a major factor that attracted her to the role.
“There’s a great sense of unity and teamwork at The Retirement Network,” Wendi said. “This is a growing company with a fantastic, family-like atmosphere and a team of advisors that genuinely care about helping their clients plan their financial futures.”
Wendi grew up in Downers Grove, Illinois, and now lives in Geneva with her husband and two young children—a daughter, age six, and a son, who will turn one in July. When she’s not working or chasing her kids around, Wendi enjoys being outdoors, spending time with family and friends and vacationing in New Buffalo, Michigan.
